Overall, I haven't been enjoying this series. It has just seemed incredibly trite and played out for the most part. This issue actually seemed to be getting on track until the flashback. I liked the way Clint was acting like a petulant child for the first half of this book and his incredible laziness and immaturity when it came to preparing for a life and death mission. I liked the way the background characters were dismissing their arguing as typical American in public attitude. Then the flashback tried to make the feelings that Bobbi had for Clint more "deep" if you will. It couldn't be enough that they were havng marital difficulties before she was abducted, no it had to be her killing a skrull Clint and his being a reminder of that constantly. It just tried to hard. I was okay with Clint figuring out stuff, but as capable and adept as Bobbi was in this issue, it incredlby hard to believe she wouldn't know what a Rube Goldberg machine was. The art was okay, but nothing too impressive.
