I think this was my favorite issue since Slott took over.
I still think
the art is very obviously way too second tier for such a high profile
book. This book seems like it's catering to the continuity nerd more
than anyone else. It is a snake eating it's tail and getting less and
less interesting as it goes.
I assume Reed saw Janet in the null space,
since that would be a logical reason for him to acquiesce to Hank.
I'm
a little disappointed that Hank didn't out think him, even with Reed
being the smartest man on the planet. They've been building Hank up so
much and the pay off to this arc was a wimper.
I did like the song
Hercules made for Cho, but in the face of all the weak Pym moments, it
kind of underwhelmed.
Inconsistant art and unengaging characterization,
and it was still one of the better Slott issues.
Story: 3 - Good
Art: 2 - Average
i thought Pym did out think Reed with the realisation of the sound weakness in his room? I agree about the art. Its a nice busy page but not quite high enough quality for this book. Also I feel like the artist is trying to be like Leinil Yu too much.
