The thing I like about this book is the villainous aspects of the
characters is never that far from the surface.
While some characters
are more noble in their own ways, there is always the undercurrent of
scum. This issue really brought that home, and because of that I loved
this issue.
I loved that the big character, I won't say villain since
the main characters are the villains, I love that he was talking about
slavery and they were still able to eat their dinner with little regard
for it.
The hamfisted by way of clever subtletly way in which Simone
was indicting both Bush and Obama did little more than annoy me, but
this book has been consistently good.
I really enjoyed the scenes with
Artemis. I never really cared for the character but she played a vital
role in Wonder Woman's past so it was good to see her used and used
well.
The art was solid. I liked realistic muscles that that the
characters have. Not too much, but in good shape.
