This book is like a roller coaster of entertainment value.
I honestly
do not care about the shell around OA. It's only been there for, what,
4 years real time, which translates to maybe 2 years comic book time?
It might have been a symbol of the reconstruction or a shield for the
world, but don't try to make it seem like the WTC in the scope of
epicness.
Of course, then we had Sinestra being all mopey emo and I
could care less, but it would be an effort.
I did like the second half
of the book. I was incredibly shocked when they killed Nero, but then I
remembered Blackest night is next issue so it was a little less
impressive.
The art is really good overall. I think some of the finer
points are lost on me or just don't fit the style that well.
The
biggest instance of this, for me, was Kyle's stubble. It just seemed
like an after thought thrown in for purpose.
Still, good book, and
solid ending, now give me Blackest Night dammit.
