What bull shit is this?
Seriously, we get that really cool ending to
last issue, which was the only really cool thing about last issue, and
this issue starts with it just beign an illusion? I call shenannigans.
And the art was really bad. Too realistic to convey the awe and wonder
of GL.
And if Hal Jordon becomes a Star Sapphire I swear to all that I
hold holy I will find Johns at the next con and nut punch him. I mean,
really, Hal is now at over half the emotional spectrum. I half expect
him to die in the penultimate issue of Blackest Night just so he can
join that corps too.
I don't appreciate Johns making Stewart's one
defining motivation less of a burden, either.
And can we Please,
PLEASE, just get to blackest night. I'm sure that all this waiting will
pay off in the end, but every issue that isn't BN now is just filler to
me now.
I don't know how this book will look after the war, since it is
very obvious that Johns wants the Guardians to be the villains after
this.
It isn't bad, but I expect so much more from a book that everyone
else is gushing over.
