Blackest Night Tales Of The Corps #3 (OF 3)

Definitely the weakest of the 3 issues. All 3 stories of this book read like back ups in a Green Lantern Annual and didn't really do anything to advance the story of BN.

I don't mind character explorations, but I was kind of hoping for something to do with Blackest Night since, y'know, that was the title of the book.

 There is the chance that all of Arisa's family will rise up and R. Lee Ermey lead them into battle, but that would be more than a little contrived since there are so many other dead lanterns to choose making up some just for the crossover is kind of weak.

The commentary on issue zero just seemed to be teasing developments in the series and overly praising the art of Ivan Reis. It's good, but the commentary made it sound like the second coming of Jesus.

The 2 main stories were incredibly cliche and if you guessed on the first 2 pages of the actual story who was going to die, you probably were right. This issue just read like a large amount of filler.
