I'm a little disappointed that the Female is just in a coma.
I know that
he probably still has plans for her, but the way that hte last issue
ended, this seems like a cop out.
This seemed like it would be a huge
storyline, what with not the Avengers being the main antagonists, but
now it just seems another insert comic property A into the "we dont'
want to be sued" Blender. Add new ways for them to be killed that gives
the finger to the current or past writing staff. Lather rinse, repeat.
The only real difference this issue is that instead of the female, the
dog is taking a proactive role.
I like Carlos's art, and he had a few
good moments, most notably the nose part, but this book promised to out
preacher preacher. In order to lay claim to that, it needs consistent
art an something more than violence of the week A on hero archtype B
month in and month out.
Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
