Uncanny X-Men #512

Now that's what I call good comic booking! A concise, fun, action-packed one off issue full of time traveling mutant scientists and 19th century Sentinels. This is the kind of stuff I knew Fraction was capable of when he wasn't being bogged down by editorial mandates and atrocious Greg Land art. Too bad the next issue is part two of Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: UtopIa. The opening one shot was just mutant angst turned to 11. I'd write a separate review for it, but it bores the shit out of me just thinking about that issue. If you're gonna buy only one Matt Fraction X book this week, buy this one.
