Marvelous Land Of Oz #1 (OF 8)

Just as beautifully drawn, and expertly told as The Wizard Of Oz.

I'm a little more excited about this title, as it's a story I read once or twice when I was younger, but don't remember too clearly.  Thus I am much less likely to notice what details Shanower chose to emphasize or leave out.  Instead, I can just focus on what a perfect adaptation of Baum's world this comic is.  Shanower and Young easily deserve the Best Publication For Kids Eisner award next year.  I mean, they are going to get it, right?
