Yeesh. Paul Dini had some sort of stroke while writing this issue. The five consecutive panels of Penguin bird puns were...terrible. Terrible. Bad. Shame. Booo. Boo, I say. Boo.
The rest of the comic was alright. I've been curious for months to see where Dini was going to take the Hush storyline, and it's interesting. But while I do quite like it, I'm surprised to find that it's the Bat book I like the least of the Reborn series. It's not as one-shot fun as Dini's Detective run, and it's not as intriguing a story arc as any of the others currently playing themselves out. Again, it's not bad, it's just disappointing in its okayness.
Maybe now that we've seen Dini's hand with Hush, he'll move on to focus more on Black Mask and Victor, who are really the more interesting villains in this arc.
