New name, new direction for the title written by Chris Claremont, but also an entirely new feel. I originally came aboard the Exiles train because of my interest in the Blink character, but with her departure I was not looking that forward to this new incarnation. Yet Claremont has made the series feel nothing like the end of the original run, recreating a cast of characters that aren't familiar with each other and aren't quite the versions of the characters we grew up with. A breath of fresh air for New Exiles, with having trust being tested, crushes being made, leaves the series with a bunch of new story line opportunities that can be used.

I didn't like this one too much. The lineup annoys me. No one really interesting. Two of the more annoying mutants in any reality (Psylocke and Sage), the Sabretooth who has been with this book forever, a Kitty Pryde, Morph (who I do like) and Mystiq, who might be the only one I am somewhat interested in. I'll see what comes of it though.

Was an okay issue I thought, but I wish it would start going somewhere, seems like it doesn't really have much of a direction at the moment :(
