I was underwhelmed by this. Maybe I expected more, because it had POW honors by Conor, but I just thought the big reveal was a bit weak. I was hoping Red Robin was Tim or someone from the future or Jason Todd or something bigger than an old C grade villain. Anarky pulling the strings was nice, as I remember him from when I first started reading Batman comics (I think my first issue EVER of Detective Comics had Anarky as the villain). He is a character who could really do some damage in Gotham at this time ... I guess he's already started.
The art was top notch, even if we did get two separate splash pages of almost exactly the same thing in two different fights (Robin kicking Red Robin in the face).
Even though a lot happened in this issue, I guess my biggest beef with this issue is that I failed to care or connect with any of the characters on any level & if you don't care what happens -- it's kinda pointless. To me, Tim Drake comes off as a really two-dimensional character when anyone other than Chuck Dixon writes him. Maybe that's just me, though.

I totally agee! How did this get choosen as the pick of the week?! The whole issue was BLAH. I thought this weeks other Batman title, Batman and the Outsiders, was 100 times better!
