I really liked this issue, although I thought it was a little out of bounds from the Young Avengers Presents premise. I was under the impression that we were to learn about each member's connection to the team that caused the Vision to locate them and start up the new team. This was a very good story, it just wasn't exactly what I thought it would be; we didn't really learn why Kate was chosen (full disclosure: it's been a long time since I read the first YA series, and I can't remember if she was just in the right place at the right time and kicked ass, or if she was in Vision's files like the others).
The "H" on Kate's belt during the scenes with Tommy was a cool nod to the logo on Clint's old Hawkeye mask, and I wouldn't mind if the artists started including it permenantly. Overall this was a very enjoyable comic.
On a side note, while I was picking this up in the shop a couple who had just gotten back from Wizard World Chicago saw it in my hand and said that they saw a little girl at the con dressed up as Hawkeye. Hopefully Young Avengers is bringing in the young readers!
