Its been 24 hours since I posted this review and I might have been a teensie weensie bit harsh.

Its just that when the first 5 or so issues of this book came out I was so pumped that I had another title to look forward to reading. My bitterness comes from the fact that it has been disappointing the past 3 months. (4 months?)

I agree about the art.

I can definitely see your points, but I guess they just don't bother me all that much.  I actually enjoy Norton's style, even if it's a copy of Chiang's style.  I appreciate that they're trying to keep the tone of the book.  I agree with you that it seems Ollie and Dinah have reverted back after the tragedy of the first five issues, but it's hard because if they were being mopey all the time, then well, they wouldn't be that much fun to read.  I think we're going to see Ollie become more focused as he gets closer and closer, and I'm actually really excited at Batman's involvement in the next one.

Nice review.

if anything i've begun to appreciate what chiang was doing more thanx to norton's re-creation of the style. norton gets better with each issue. before i read this i considered dropping it but when i saw the art, which doesn't necessarily define my picks, i let go the idea. yes, the story has stalled, but i can't think of many stories that don't
