Invincible #63

This issue  left me utterly breathless.  Nothing is sacred, no character is safe to Kirkman when it comes to telling a compelling story.  It has been quite a while since I have felt this engrossed in a story;  this issue left a stain on my mind, much like The Walking Dead #48, the Killing Joke, and an issue of Garth Ennis' Hellblazer (John looking into the empty box that once contained Gabriel's heart).
