Green Lantern #38

A part of me is just screaming 'Get on with Blackest Night already!!!', but another part of me is saying 'Yeah I can deal with this, as long as the issues are good'.

This whole arc of the red lanterns have been nothing but entertaining. The Blue lanterns are easily my new favorite characters and Johns has just wrote some of the strangest shit in comics with this. Now this arc is at the end and now we have to reflect on what is going on.

Hal Jordan is getting fucked up here. In the course of this issue he goes from red, to blue, to green, and is now some blue/green hybrid. Now that we know the Blue Lanterns can only be helpful with Green Lanterns around; that adds much more depth to the characters. Instead of being these powerful lanterns, they can only be helpful in a certain way. But know that it looks like Hal is both colors, he is gonna have waaay too much power. My only problem with this was the end. It went a bit too quick for me to understand everything at first, and I actually thought that was the start of the 'origins/omens' part. But overall this was a soild issue and I cannot wait for the Orange lanterns.....they look cool.
