another strong issue from a consistently enjoyable book.

two main things stand out:

- this story has really developed in a nice, organic way. the stakes have gradually been raised, and the different dramatic elements have intersected in a really pleasing way. for a book with so many characters divided into different teams and areas, it has remained remarkably cohesive. and by the end of this issue, the stakes have really been raised - can't wait for the next.

- i've said this before, but i'm always surprised at how teenage the legion is in this book. they are heroes, they are capable, but they really feel young and not as experienced as a justice league. the fact that they manage to be teenagers but not cripplingly annoying (see: misfit/black alice in birds of prey) makes this achievement that much more special.

i wish this book had more buzz, because i think it's a great read every month.
