what a fun read - as soon as i read it, it was my pow.

this book is the anti-GA/BC, because shit is HAPPENING in this book. the pacing on the current story has been spot on, and we can really sense the trouble building up, all from booster's decision to save ted kord and its effect on time. i think most of us knew that the two couldn't stay together from the start of this, but it's been fascinating to see them try and make it work out, as the future gets more and more awful as a result of their actions.

as a JLI lover, it was hard not to be thrilled by the mere presence of that team, but everybody seemed to be given real character. in particular guy, martian manhunter, and batman all seemed to be written in a way that rings true, despite only being given a few panels each.

and of course, the final page really has me anticipating the next issue. as if shit hasn't gone down already, it's going to get even worse next issue. can't wait to see the wrap-up.

I absolutely agree here.  I read this and immediately knew it was my favorite book of the week.
