Fables #88

I was very underwhelmed with the Dark Ages story, and I fully disliked the Crossover.  To be perfectly honest this book was on the chopping block prior to this arc.  The Witches however has really impressed me and I gotta say this is the best arc of Fables in a long time.  I was truly satisfied with this issue, both on its own and as a part of this story arc.

I was surprised to have enjoyed the art here as much as I did, it was noticeably better than usual in my opinion, by which I mean it is a surprising five rather than a enjoyably consistent four.
