I was looking forward to this issue. While we have been going back in time a little with New Avengers and Mighty Avengers, the ideas have been interesting and well paced (especially in New Avengers). Alas I feel let down with Might Avengers #18.
I know this book is being canceled so why not do it now.
This story was not needed. we have already seen that Maria Hill has clones in place ao why show us again (is it becuase she has a neat little ear tick???), we have already seen the team of secret warriors form (and to be honest if this is the new Bendis / Maleev series I'm worried - these charcters do not interst me at all). Overall this is showing us nothing great. Now I love Nick Fury, I do, but right now, especilly in this issue im not digging him.
The art reminded me of Avenegers: Initiative which isn't a bad thing coz that comic rocks but again felt out of place with the recent art we have seen in this book (although consistency on this went out the wndow on about issue 2 with delays / art etc).
Overall this was not needed and not that enjoyable. Bendis is great but he missed the mark here. sorry.
