Blown away!
This comic had me giddy with excitement from everything that happend within its pages. We start off with the best cover of the week, and within the first 3 pages we see a fight between the 2 Supes break out. The art throughout was gorgeous, but really who didn't see that coming? What I didn't see coming was the masterful writing of Alex Ross showcased in this issue. His writing evoked a spectrum of emotions within me, from fear and sorrow to happiness and elation.
I can't find any flaw with this issue. Some people may argue that this story arc has been to long, but I fail to see why this is an issue when the stories are this good. Others might say that the price is to steep; whereas I would say that with production values this high I would be willing to pay $5.99 for an issue like this and cut another comic out of my diet.
This issue was written just as amazingly as last month's Action Comics issue. My only disappointment with the issue was that I really wanted Supe 2 and Lois to hug, which only goes to show how superbly Ross represented these characters.
