Jeph Loeb created Hush.

There I said it. Are you still here? Good. Because I can let you in on a little secret. Paul Dini has taken Loeb's creation and defined it. Seriously, if you had a problem with Hush, get over it. You are currently witnessing a layering of depth to this character in the current 'Tec storyline "Heart of Hush." The flashback sequences, beautifully rendered by Dustin Nguyen and masterfully placed by Dini, are really the "heart" of this story. So fascinating are these moments that you would believe that Hush is a new Dini creation. Trust me, this is a moment in comics where a writer lays claim to someone else's creation and makes it his. Dini and Nguyen are providing one of the most consistantly solid top runs in comics today. Kind of like investing in bonds and treasury bills. You'll always get more than your money's worth without the risk. Get on board now before the double-sized conclusion hits.
