Well, I am compelled to write a quick review now. :D
BPRD has been a favorite of mine for a long time now. When a title has been so good for so long you end up elevating your expectations for what this book has to offer. You can't help it, you just feel this way and you don't even know that you're doing it most times.
I think this is one of those moments for me. There is really no serious complaint here other than the formula here feels tried already. If this was my first BPRD series, I'm sure I would rank this a 5/5. However, like I said already, I think my expectations for this title are quite high now that this book has been nothing but fanastic from the moment of its conception.
October 29th can't get here quick enough.

there was a starman/hellboy/batman team-up a while ago that is supposed to be coming out in a trade soon. that's what I read in the back of The Crooked Man #3 at least.
