It seems de rigeur to start Final Crisis Aftermath reviews with comments about the other titles.  So: "Run" bored me.  "Dance" intrigued me with the meta-commentary on pop culture and heroes.  "Escape" has a lot of potential to be a fascinating character study with a strong expressionist influence.

That said, "Ink" is by far my favorite, from the use of the tattoos to the pairing of story and art.  It's as much the story of a family as of a hero beating up a villain.  It's noir in many ways, from the flawed hero to the corrupt police force, and the ending only serves to further expand on the ways in which the external conflicts are a mirror of Mark's internal struggles.

Story: 5 - Excellent Art: 4 - Very Good
