This comic is too pretty for its own good.  Seriously.  At some point, a guy has to get tired of turning every page and saying, "this may be the most beautiful single page of comics I've seen in months," over and over.  There is no way in which this is not beautiful, and I'm not really an art guy.

No, what I love about comics is the story.  Detective Comics also has a story.  It is very good, and involves a character who only speaks in quotes from "Alice in Wonderland."  That seems like it would be gimmicky, and it is.  The joke could get old very quickly, but for now it's damn creepy.

Story: 4 - Very Good Art: 5 - Excellent

I thought issue one was a little bit better but issue two is still on the right track, I guess?
