Amazing Spider-Man #571

This is such a weird book to me. It's on-again off-again quality is off-putting, with the 1st issue being fantastic, the 2nd not so much, the 3rd being wonderful and then this one a disappointment too! The script, the writing, even JRjr's art is on a weekly hit-and-miss scheduel and I'm not really sure why that is. It definitely wouldn't work on anything but a weekly schedule (I would be pissed and probably drop the book if I had to wait a month after #2 meandering nothing-issue) and will probably read much better in a trade. It's just still, such a very odd duck to me.
