You get the secret handshake when you keep buying books you don't like because you believe (but not REALLY) the end of the story will make everything else right. Also because you can't bear to have a hole in your collection.
You get the key to the fanboy washroom when you leaf through a stack of 30 copies of Secret Invasion: Spider-Man looking for th one copy in the best condiditon.

Nice review -- I'm actually glad to see someone "new to comics" do a review on this book because it strikes me that what trips people up on this book is a need to fit it into continuity. But if you ignore that, acknowledging that this is "an imaginary story," then you end up with a series of tales and myths -- and I think they're well done.
