Invincible #50

After jumping into this series late and plowing through all the trades in the past month, this issue was an awesome payoff. I just wish the main story was longer, it was so much fun. There are two back-up stories, one featuring Cecil's backstory (which really throws new light on his actions in the first part of this ish) and one featuring Science Dog, which was ok but didn't really need to happen. When this first hit stands I just blew it off as another image superhero book that I didn't need, but I regret not keeping up with it (though I think I benefited from reading all the issues straight through).

I can't wait to see where this is going!
(Though the back cover has the next issue's Jim Lee cover and maaaan. He REAAALLY phoned that one in.)
