I loved this series since its debut but this issue fell short.  The art for this issue was horrible and the writing style of Abnett and Lanning was different.  The entire issue gave the focus to Drax and Phyla.  Even if the focus was on these two they could have included a few pages to the rest of the team.  Most issues are fun and action packed cosmic goodness.  I didn't care for the existential philosophy of Drax.  He is Drax the Destroyer, he destroys stuff.  This felt like a filler issue to me.  This series is still great but this issue isn't.

I cracked this open and stopped.  I was put off by the art.  I hope marvel isn't ditching their dark horse.  Ultimately I will have to wait until I read it to cast my vote.

How could the art really rate a 1? Even if the art was below par for GOTG, it was still reasonably good Marvel cosmic stuff.
