For a comic I've really been enjoying, I thought this issue was pretty mediocre. I've praised Tomasi in past reviews for being able to juggle multiple plot points well. In this issue he wraps every plot up to quickly. Mongul and the Sinestro Corp retreat just like that. What about the reaction from the Arisia, GL Corp, and the Daxamites. What happened to Ash and Saarek? Soranik Natu's seems mostly unphased after finding out that Sinestro is her father. My biggest problem of the issue was that Tomasi focused more on the execution of the Sciencell prisoners by the Alpha Lanterns. However, that did set up Nero and some other prisoners into becoming Black Lanterns. I know the Prelude to Blackest Night storylines has had plenty of issues but I think that if Tomasi had one more issue he could have wrapped it up better. Gleason follows Tomasi's example in this issue. Usually his art is hit or miss but this issue was in between, pretty average. I'm still psyched about the Blackest Night and I'm sure Tomasi and Gleason still have some great GL stories to tell.
