Just like the previous issue of Green Lantern Corps, in this Green Lantern issue Blackest Night has begun. I've felt like John's Agent orange arc has been stretched out a bit but still entertaining. I thought the trade off of the Lantern and rings between Larfleeze and Hal was interesting. Also who was speaking to Hal when he was in possession of the Orange Lantern? Was it the lantern itself or the orange Ion-like entity? Another thing I noticed in this issue was that the Guardins seem to be having a hard time getting along with one another. This issue juggled many plot points just as the last issue of Green Lantern Corp did. However, it didn't work as well and felt more choppy. I like Phillip Tan's art but his work on the Agent Orange arc has not been his best. I don't think the Green Lantern book is a good fit for him. The coloring was poor in this issue. Some panels looked painted or computer generated and other didn't. Not the best issue of Green Lantern but it was still fun.
