I'm having a tough time deciding whether or not I like Batman and the Outsiders, and by issue #6 I feel that I should have come up with some sort of opinion of the book. The problem is, I suspect, that nothing is really happening. None of the characters are getting developed and the plot has yet to really take off. Part of that might be the uneven start, with Dixon coming in after the first few issues, but if I don't have a better sense of how I feel by the end of this arch, I'll be looking at dropping the book

well said. This issue just seemed especially strange.  The art seemed off (maybe the color?) - I thought I had a handle on the arc of the plot and I thought I liked the plot....Now I'm not sure.  Even the cover seemed kinda weird.  A jarring issue...

Yeah, this was a pretty bland issue. Not bad, but not real good either ... just so-so.

I just wish Batman didn't use gas on the dude when he needed to knock him out -- he deserved to be punched for wearing that "hilarious" t-shirt.
