Ok so Jason Aaron can write Superheroes, but does he give us an ending worthy of this Arc. Im in 2 minds. The conclusion to his Flashback storyline is satisfying i feel it was a great twist that it was Wolverine who sold out the Gang. However the other Storyline fell flat to me.
Other People have mentioned this but he left it with Mystique still alive, Why? I get the feeling the X-Editor didnt actually want her dead. Yeah sure Wolverines Speech about how he's gonna get pick up by his friends, and she can die alone is all well and good but the road he took there. Surely Wolverine would have finished all through the arc he says he has one purpose. Kill Mystique for all the bad things she's done. Shes made him go through so much, Including American marines and blowing himself up to get to her why would he leave her there. It just doesnt feel right he would have finished it.
Now the Art is just beautiful as it has been all the way through. Im glad i picked up Wolverine at least for these 4 issues. Next month Millar and Macniven can ruin for all i care. Ive jumped ship. I wanted to follow one of the best new writers out there in Jason Aaron and i have. And for the most part he's delivered so Bravo, I look forward to your next marvel work. (PS im reading Ghost Rider and it does rock!)

I agree that the ending fell flat, I was hoping that Wolverine would off Mystique but in my heart I knew it probably wouldn't happen. I did like how the flashback plot tied in and finished off quite nicely though.
