Why is it that most of Marvel's "event comics" second to last issues are better then the payoff? I loved Civil war # 6, WWH # 4 and Secret Invasion # 7. One would think that I would know better with the third time.
Nope...it was all a mediocre. Now, as I read this I remembered the BIG reveal i kept hearing about. This "Dark Reign". While having to read through tons of pointless words and awful way of finding the "lost" heroes I thought this issue was over. (side note: Good call on the person who thought it was a good idea for the heroes to be found in their costumes totally intact and looking fresh. Ugh)
Finally...the last two pages...That was awesome. It SAVED the issue. Going from bad to ok. What it sets up is a really interesting year for marvel.

Spider Woman is really gunna miss her Skrull showers. Jarvis is gunna miss not having to be everyones b****. And Mrs. Fantastic already misses Skrull Reeds non flacid p****.
