I LOVED this issue! Better than the first two combined. The way Bendis is using Iron Man is brilliant - as much as I like the current Iron Man book, put Bendis on the title. The Iron Man mystery (is he or isn't he) appears to be a driving force in this title, and I sure hope Bendis pays it off - a broken Tony Stark could be just as intriguing as a drunken Tony Stark.
I also enjoy the way Bendis is carrying through the reveals from the last two issues. It's good to see Skrull Jarvis and Skrull Hank Pym not just relegated to the "they've been revealed, let's forget them" pile which could easily happen with all the balls Bendis has thrown up into the air. And who ever thought Jarvis could actually scare anyone...
Yu's art just jumped from the page this issue. The battle scenes in New York was among the best two-page fight scenes I've seen in 20-plus years of reading comics. He drew the s*** out of this issue. His depiction of the Spider-Woman/Iron Man conversation was just creepy in that "oooohhhh, I feel ants crawling across my skin" way.
As far as big events go, this one feels more weighty than any from the past couple years. More than Civil War, more than House of M, this one feels like it's going to have repercussions for a long time to come.
