I don't mind long-form storytelling.  This, however, is a book that is spinning it's wheels.  It appears that almost no time at all has passed between the end of Secret Invasion and this issue.  It feels like Bendis will keep those wheels spinning until the Dark Reign is ready to end and only then will he move the book forward.

I really dislike the empty suit that is Bendis' take on the new Captain America.  With no force of personality, plan, or even conviction, Bucky is merely a symbol.  In this book, Bucky is Cap only in name.

The best part of this issue was the reuniting of Bendis and Immonen.  It's too bad that I just can't see them doing anything cool until the Dark Reign shackles come off.
