Wildcats #10

The Wildcats make their move in Majestic’s new Khera/Earth nation of Hawaii, while Hadrian and Majestic are touring the remains of Japan and informs Hadrian about the High taking people to Finland (as seen in Stormwatch: PED) Back in Hawaii Zealot springs Majestic’s prisoner, while Hadrian tries to stall Majestic for as long as he can. We get hints to Majestic’s drastic personality change that may tie back to the Tao back-up story. The ‘Cats try to escape from Hawaii and Majestic’s wrath, while Defile makes his move back in LA.

Gage packs this issue with as much action as possible with a dash of drama and smattering of Ladytron humor thrown in for good measure. This issue brings the Wildcats/Majestic dynamic to ahead while Gage lays down some groundwork as to why Majestic is acting the way he has been, also setting up for Defiles move against the ‘Cats.  This issue moves at fast pace giving the characters and situation a sense of urgency. Googe has been some doing some career best work on this title and this issue is no exception, his layouts complement the story that Gage is trying to tell by giving the characters expressive faces to convey the characters emotional state and also give characters have fluid motion during the action that makes the static panels leap off the page.
