Geoff Johns has brought me back to my early days of reading comics. I'm only 25 but when I was younger and I read comics for the first time all the stories felt like giant events, but contained to one book. This issue feels huge, it hits all the classic elements of SUPERMAN lore...The determination to do what's right no matter what, the supporting cast, and family. This is Superman. Now if only we could go back to four superman books(two written by Geoff, one by Judd Winick, Kurt Busiek, and Grant Morrison or Paul Dini) I could be totally happy. So glad this came out, because if it was only down to Final Crisis:Revelations(which I did like, but didn't love) and SECRET INVASION(ugh, just ugh) I'd think this week was a total wash out for big books.

I agree, too ... except for one thing -- please keep Winick away from Superman!
You're right about this story feeling huge & epic.
