I felt like for the $4 price tag, for once you get some bang for your buck on a Marvel book.

I guess Marvel realized that the 2000 AD format really works well, and why not apply it to the Marvel universe? You can constantly introduce new writers and artists on a title like this, much like 2000 AD did.

Plus a killer wrap-around cover by Kenneth Roquefort? Hells yes. He also does the art for the Wolverine vs Punisher story. AND there's Jonathan Hickman art!!! I really liked this first issue, and look forward to the many stories and art to come forth. There's so much promise to this series, that I hope to see it blossom.

I love Kenneth Rocafort's artwork in general and it was such a shock to see him on a Marvel book. What he's done in his story is worth the price alone. More Rocafort on Marvel. Maybe in a "War of the Kings" tie-in?
