Just when I started to highly enjoy the past two issues, and began to think "Hey, maybe Morrison will surprise me with an awesome conclusion!", issue number seven hit stands today.

Issues five and six felt like the calm, peaceful center of the eye of the confusing storm called Final Crisis.  Then issue seven took us out of the storm, and was once again confusing as hell making no sense whatsoever.

So with both Morrison failing on Batman RIP, and now Final Crisis, DC would be wise to have a home-run event in the near future to help polish some of the rust off their logo.

The art was very nice, but it couldn't save this event being doomed from the get-go.

Story: 1 - Poor Art: 4 - Very Good
