Blue Beetle #25

Khaji Da!  Wouldn't that look good on a t-shirt?  Perhaps I should just stick to my day job.

Alas, it seems the dreaded Reach are defeated in this stunning, thrilling, and highly enjoyable
conclusion.  Jaimie Reyes might be new to the whole 'superhero' thing, but as this past arc shows, he adapts pretty quickly.

It also helps to have a few friends in high places.  With guest appearances from Guy Gardner, Ice, Fire, Booster Gold (nice Giffen & DeMatties nod), Oracle, and Peacemaker, they're not only able to stop the Reach from ripping Earth in two, but the look pretty bitchin' doing it in the process.

I hated issue #1 of Blue Beetle when it first came out, but that's only because I had no idea what was happening.  After re-reading issue #1 followed by issue #2, Blue Beetle quickly became one of my favorite books coming out from DC every month. 

I cannot highly recommend this title enough to anyone who is new to the DC Universe.
