Existence 2.0 #3 (OF 3)

Whiplash!.  You know when you are driving in a car and it jerks around corners so quick your neck hurts and you feel like you are getting whiplash?  Welcome to Existence 2.0.  This series has had more twists and turns in a three issue mini than most books have in a 24 issue run.  The typical formula for a three issue mini is as follows - first issue introduce characters/situation, second issue create shocking situation/problem and third issue solve the problem.  Every single issue of this mini introduced new shocking revelations up to the ending of the third issue.  I went into this series optimistic for a decent read and walked away feeling dizzy and lightheaded from all of the excitement and intrigue that each and every issue delivered.  I like to think I can predict what is going to happen next but there is no way that you could have predicted any of the events the took place in this book. 

There is a follow-up series being released in November called Existence 3.0 and honestly I am scratching my head wondering how the heck the creative team can top what they have already delivered.  Then again I had that same feeling each and every issue and somehow they pulled it off.  Fans of Brubaker's Sleeper, Incognito, or Criminal should really check this book out.  It was a true gem that got no where near the recognition it deserved.  Whiplash!  I have a bad case of whiplash from all of the twists and turns and to be honest I loved every minute of this crazy ride.
