Kick Ass #1

Pretty good… This issue was really contemporary.  References to Jose Whedon’s run on Astonishing and the fantastic four movies are really going to date this book — but if it means Millar isn’t writing for trade, I don’t mind.

 

The concept isn’t original but you can relate to the main character, which isn’t always true in other “what if superheroes where real?� books. 

 

Great last page, I’ll pickup at least one more issue because of it.
