I haven't watched the video, but I vomited a little in my mouth when I saw Marvel Apes there.
Marvel "Themed" books = 7 months of annoying variants and jokes.
Posted by Neb on 09/02/08 at 10:46 AMIT WAS A LIGHT WEEK!
Posted by josh on 09/02/08 at 11:12 AMUh, Josh, you do know that the massive Fables 75 comes out this week, right?
Posted by Ilash on 09/02/08 at 01:00 PMCool. That's why we have a comment section. Exciting.
Posted by josh on 09/02/08 at 01:12 PMYup, I also didn't see Fables on Diamond's expected list but the Midtown Comics list that they post over on the Millaworld boards had it down so here's hoping that it arrives because it should be AWESOME.
Posted by Ilash on 09/02/08 at 01:26 PM@josh: It might be light, but Archie? Seriously? Then again that gets bought a lot at my store, so a couple of people are excited about it...But the man who preaches Fables all the time and not mention it...for shame Josh.
That said GL will probably be my POTW by default, but I'll give that Roberts book a try too.
Posted by TheNextChampion on 09/02/08 at 02:20 PMDid my dry, ironic wit fly over some heads again? I get that sometimes.
Posted by josh on 09/02/08 at 03:33 PMI'm sorry Josh I was expecting your more impersonator like comedy. It would be great if you were just in character for a whole mini.
Posted by TheNextChampion on 09/02/08 at 03:36 PMWow, that was a pretty weak week but a different location is always a bonus. Well at least I have Invincible Iron Man, and Kurosagi Corpse Deliver Service to look forward to.
Posted by whirlwindx on 09/02/08 at 05:17 PMArchie Digest.... Seriously?
Posted by iSteve on 09/02/08 at 06:31 PMI was gonna go with the Apes, but then I saw the story title. The Apes of Wrath. Groan. Nope, my simeon simoleons are going towards Guerillas, which was sadly out of stock by the time I made it to the LCS on Saturday.
Posted by RobAbsten on 09/02/08 at 07:46 PMCrap. Should be "simian." My one good line and I step all over it like I'm Joe Freaken Biden.
Posted by RobAbsten on 09/02/08 at 07:48 PMI'm sorry, but 'Apes Of Wrath' is just an AMAZING subtitle. I'm not joking. Long, standing ovation for whoever thought that up... Still won't be buying it though.
Posted by Eyun on 09/02/08 at 08:13 PMThe RNC is in town, and it's at times like these where I turn to comics, I'm hoping that this weeks Archie Digest will help me put things into perspective.
can any one say "police state" for a week or so.

Marvel Apes? Already?
When will it end?! I dont think Marvel is kidding when they stated that a Marvel Zombies vs Marvel Apes mini could come out in the future...Gah, who honestly thinks this will be any good?
Also...did Josh just recommend Archie?....
