Tonight's episode - Roulette

Last week's episode was fantastic! All things considered this has been a great season of Smallville.

As always, I look forward to your thoughts, opinions, gripes, live-blogging, etc.

Oh god. This is already my favorite episode ever.

Question. I saw only the last 15 minutes of this episode and didn't really know what was going on. I heard something about a "dragon lady" and was wondering if this was loosely based on Longbow Hunters.

Continuing to enjoy this season.  Another Oliver Queen episode?  Great!

It was a great Fincher movie. I can see why they stole most of the plot.

Better than the zombie episode but its another episode that means nothing.  Already tired of Sad Sack Ollie.

GREAT episode.

Yeah, this was such a shameless ripoff of The Game.  Except this version carried none of the weight of that movie, and just continues the mediocre show that is Smallville.  Why do I keep watching?

@dignan17: If you don't like it, you probably shouldn't be watching it.

Yeah, there are a lot of shows like that.  But there are flashes in this show that keep me in it.  Plus this season has been a lot better.  It far exceeds that one season in the middle where Clark was starting to fight some witch that was taking over Lana's body.

And by the way, I'm a bit shocked by your response.  So you're saying I can't be critical?  There's nothing at all wrong with Smallville?  I could write a book about all the bad aspects of the show.  I watch because it entertains, has breif glimpses of action and drama (real drama, not the soap opera drama that pervades the show), and because it's Superman.

I don't care if I were discussing one of my favorite shows on TV, I can still be critical of what I feel are missteps.

@dignan17: Of course you can be critical. But if you're at the stage where you are asking why you are spending your tine watching something then you have to ask yourself "why?", right?
