I agree on the cover to my comic. They did a good job showing "Me" at that time in my life. Eh, I hate seeing me like that, but it happened.
Posted by KickAss on 09/11/09 at 12:51 PMI thought the Thunderbolts cover with Fury and Osborn was pretty good.
Posted by drakedangerz on 09/11/09 at 12:56 PMthat cover makes me want to read Incredible Herc, it looks hilarious
Posted by mikegraham6 on 09/11/09 at 12:59 PMThough I never read it, the whole Kick Ass thing strikes me as smugly self aware for some reason.
Posted by JumpingJupiter on 09/11/09 at 01:08 PM@mikegraham You should!
Awesome covers this week.
Posted by PraxJarvin on 09/11/09 at 01:10 PMLooking back on the run of Incredible Hercules made me realize that for the most part the series' covers, discounting variants, have been a throwback to a time when the cover actually had something to do with the issue's content—not only capturing the title's mood but hinting at the narrative within. Now if only this were a trend among other Marvel/DC titles … what a world that would be.
Posted by dandoody on 09/11/09 at 02:03 PMWow didn't see you picking Incredible Hercules. But I agree because it's a wonderful cover. Also great font for the title of the book.
Posted by TheNextChampion on 09/11/09 at 02:23 PMSecret Six had an amazing cover this week.
Posted by Aquaman on 09/11/09 at 04:38 PMI finally cracked and picked up Incredicble Herc. I don't know why I ever hesitated. Fred Van Lente!
Posted by patio on 09/11/09 at 05:00 PMI loved the Hellboy cover, the Uncanny/Avengers: Exodus cover, and the Ultimate Avengers cover this week. Thats about it though.
Posted by ThePunisherMAX on 09/11/09 at 05:19 PMHercalies Hercalies!!
...sorry I am bored at work and I had to.
Posted by rush on 09/11/09 at 05:59 PMOut of those three the Hellboy cover dominates.
Posted by Mangaman on 09/11/09 at 08:46 PMHellBoy has a great cover. is kick-ass any good?
Posted by victorbarriga on 09/11/09 at 09:47 PMThe Unwritten #5 should be up there. Its one of the best covers of the week, if not the best cover of the week. Then again, that is my opinion, so I guess it's ok that it isnt up there.
Posted by MasterXell on 09/11/09 at 11:59 PMKick Ass's left hand freaks me out.
Posted by Gabe on 09/12/09 at 02:03 AMCan't believe no Adventure Comics #2 pick.
Posted by Noto on 09/12/09 at 03:43 PMIt nearly was. Great cover on Adventure #2, but I ended up with a variant that wasn't the good one.
Posted by josh on 09/12/09 at 04:33 PMAdventure #2's cover was both beau-ti-ful and showed something from the story. yay! It was my favourite.
Posted by Crippler on 09/12/09 at 08:01 PMI read my issues sporadically and spread accross the week, and I just finished the Hercules issue. It cemented my belief that it is the best book out by Marvel.
"Of course. I am thor. And I assure you my...hammer works just fine."
I haven't laughed this hard while reading since hitchiker's guide to the galaxy.
Posted by muddi900 on 09/13/09 at 06:05 AMkick ass...lmao
Posted by rayclark on 09/14/09 at 05:31 PMdont like the herc cover. hellboy one is cool.
Posted by s30 on 09/15/09 at 01:23 PM

That Hellboy cover is absolutely beautiful. It also perfectly represents the story.
The cover for Unwritten #5 was also a very acturate representation of the story (and beautiful to boot).
