Let's welcome the new guys!

Like a shark that is moving ever forward, iFanboy is constantly on the look out for ways to keep things fresh and new around here.  To that end, we're always keeping our eyes open for new talent, people who bring a unique and interesting look at the world of comic books.  It's time to welcome our newest members of the iFanboy writing family.

Jim Mroczkowski, Paul Montgomery, and Mike Romo are three guys whose take on the world we like a lot and whose talent with the written word both excites and humbles us.  Hopefully, you'll feel the same way we do.

The new guys will be sharing their thoughts with you all on a weekly basis and will be joining Josh, Ron, Gordon and myself, along with Paul Dini and Jonathan Hickman (whose extended new baby hiatus should conclude at the end of this month) to bring you great stuff to read every week!

This is but the first wave.  Expect to see some more new names around here in the coming months, but in the meantime please join iFanboy in welcoming its newest members of the writing team!

Welcome new Ifanboys.  I dont really know a lot about Paul or Mike, however Jimski's Mighty Avengers #14 review made me chuckle and even though I don't agree with some of your reviews, I get where your coming from. Good luck and I can't wait to read more of your stuff guys.

A whole-hearted slap on the back, and a raising and a'clinkin' of the beer glass to you fellas. You always write good stuff, so looking forward to more from you! :)

Welcome all - looking forward to see what you have to contribute. Glad to see Pol getting his due after that hard fill-in Intern spot he had to do at the NY comic con.

And a whole bunch of vowels and consonants coming at you guys tomorrow.

Paul? THAT guy? Oh god. Well, at least my bookmarks aren't permanent.

@s1lentslayer Anyone watching the new and improved Jeapordy will tell you that you can exchange your O's for an A and a U. Just no refunds.

welcome guys. im very intrested to see what you have to say!!

I'm hoping the new blood will mean broader coverage of the comics world.  I like Green Arrow as much as the next guy, but where's my Omaha the Cat Dancer or Wendy Whitebread: Undercover Slut?

Posted by ultimatehoratio on 06/02/08 at 06:26 PM

@ultimatehoratio Little known fact: Paul's faovirte book (Not Pol's, Pol only reads Final Crisis and it's various tie-ins) is Helen Killer. Expect plenty of coverage of that.

Posted by esophagus on 06/02/08 at 06:55 PM

And hopefully of the spinoff Mother F***ing Teresa!

Cool fresh new minds but in this day in age I have to wonder... Are you skrulls?

Posted by lantern4life on 06/03/08 at 12:48 PM

Getting the first column out of the way is a big relief.  That was a nail-biter.

Posted by PaulMontgomery on 06/03/08 at 01:27 PM

Awesome.

The world is about to learn that Mike Romo is a genius.

It must be like something short of winning the lottery to be admitted to the inner realm of the iFanboy writing staff.

Congratulations to you all.
