A Quick Note about iFanboy.com Being Down

We just wanted to apologize for the recent server problems we've been having over the past two days. On both days, around 3 PM EST, our hosting provider has had to take iFanboy.com down due to increased load. This problem was actually on our host's side and not on ours, which makes being down that much more frustrating. We apologize. We're working on ensuring that this doesn't happen again and that iFanboy.com will always be here for you whenever you want it so you can get your comics fill.

In the meantime, if you think iFanboy.com is having problems - go to twitter.com/ifanboy for instant updates and the forums at Revision3.com which should be up and people are discussing comics there.

Thanks for your patience and again, we apologize for the outage.

oh, that's a relief I guess. I was afraid it was me.

It did get me to finally go to the forums which i've put off for-Ev-er.

I take this to mean that the community (or at least site visits) are on the rise. That sounds like good news. That is an indicator of the quality of the material on the site and the quality of the community.

It really wasn't that big a deal. I looked up "ifanboy" on Yahoo! and the link took me to the homepage when my bookmark had a blank page. So, all went swimmingly. But thanks for the quick fix guys.

Having been on this end of things professionally, I know how hard it sucks to have to rely on someone else to take care of your stuff. Thanks for keeping us informed and thanks for the quick responses.

somewhat good news that it wasn't my connection that was messing up but bad news that the site was down. Thanks for updating the community on it. Hopefully the host will be able to figure it out
