Posted by Conor Kilpatrick on Feb 15, 2006 in articles 27Following the popularity of the Slow News Week weblog, we thought we'd try something similar here on a semi-regular basis. Feel free to talk about whatever strikes your fancy. Whatever has popped into your pretty little head, either in general or at this very nanosecond. Talk about whatever you want and if there's anything useful in here, we can do a special weblog, or talk about it in...

Posted by Conor Kilpatrick on Feb 14, 2006 in articles 8It's not often my daily newspaper makes me sick, but today was one of those days. An article in today's New York Daily News extols the "growing" investment value of comic books . In a shocking twist, the article features a quote and a statistic provided by Wizard Magazine . I'm sure that most people in the comic business would love nothing more than to have the 1990s speculation boom-ti...

Posted by Josh Flanagan on Feb 13, 2006 in articles 14Frank Miller has announced a new Batman Project, where Batman takes on Al Qaida, after an attack on Gotham City . The book, called Holy Terror, Batman! , is, in Miller's words, "a piece of propoganda," where 'Batman kicks al Qaeda's ass." Posted by Conor Kilpatrick on Feb 11, 2006 in articles 1Phil Brown, the man who immortalized the grizzled Uncle Owen in Star Wars: A New Hope , has died . A few years back, Josh saw him at the San Diego Comic Con and took this picture. It appears that being too grizzly can be fatal. So long, Uncle. You raised a good kid.

Posted by Conor Kilpatrick on Feb 10, 2006 in articles 27They've released more still photos from X3 , and while I understand that things look differently in still form then they do while moving, some of these are not very good. Our favorite comic book loving lass Toga pointed us to this gallery . What the hell did they do to Colossus? The more I see of this movie, the less I like it. And that's a bad sign because once they announced Brett Ratn...

Posted by Josh Flanagan on Feb 10, 2006 in articles 31I need your help! Can the collective knowledge of the iFanboy family help a guy out? I'm looking for a definitive list of as many fat superheroes as we can come up with. What are their powers? Where did they get their powers? Impress me with your encylopedic trove of useless information! I've got some basics in mind, but I don't know much about them. Juggernaut, Phat from X-Force, the...
