I liked the first one a lot so I'm in.  I also love the 'romantic old west' portrayal they always seem to give Kentucky in comics.  Apparently in Marvel's Kentucky everyone speaks like they're from 'Deadwood.'

Yea for more Havok story.  With how they left things at the end of Emperor Vulcan, I really want to see what's happened with Havok's team

Poor Havok, Polaris, and Rachel -- the perennial B-list of the Summers-Grey-Lehnsherr clan.

This sucked.  Don't buy it.   These stories didn't deserve the 4-5 pages they got.

CB Cebulski has become the new guy Marvel needs to fire.

Wow Steve, thats kind of harsh. I agree this wasn't CB's finest work, but his independent stuff is great maytbe marvel should let him do a Max title or something.

The first story in this book was awesome. I liked this 100 times better than number 1.

You're right.  Fire is harsh, but I'm tired of his stuff.  Loners was the biggest let down in the history of comics.  The whole X-Men thing has been disappointing for a couple of years--maybe overhaul the whole X-Office.

Maybe I'm just not in the right mood to read comics right now... but I have a feeling that this kinda sucked.  Perhaps I'll give it another shot tomorrow.

nothing earthshattering but i enjoyed this book.  i could see though if someone wouldn't like it

I thought this was SO much better than the first one.

I loved the Beast story. I'm always down for more of Martha the mutant brain. After all, she's one of the only things left from Morrison's run.

Wow! This series had some pretty top notch art and writing. I espesially liked The Sun Also Sets. Dealing with pain is a struggle we all go through.

I really enjoyed this series.  The X-Men always have so many characters that some get neglected and this is a good way to keep up with some of them.  The Beast story was great!  I did not read the Emperor Vulcan mini so I did not see how that story ended but I am intrigued by the Havok story here.  Well worth the pick up.
